Hello, I’m Sam (she/they).
A bit about me…
I am a Black, queer, daughter of immigrants. I am passionate about social justice, loving-kindness, and collective liberation. When I’m not seeing clients, I am pouring into myself through art, travel, connecting with community, and tending to spiritual and joy practices.
For me, being a therapist is purposeful & fulfilling work—I get to provide the care and support my younger self once needed. And I get to share skills and practices that help my clients reach the change they are seeking.
This next chapter you’re stepping into will require some collaborative work and I’d be honored to be the thought partner you choose to work with.
A few of the things clients and I work on together:
Finding their “why”
Grieving loved ones, past relationships, and ecological harm
Processing trauma while building a life that is not defined by it
Building community of fulfilling relationships
Navigating monogamous and polyamorous/ENM relationships
Stepping into a new career/degree program/relationship
Releasing habits and thought patterns that no longer serve them
Sitting with discomfort & building confidence while doing so
Releasing comparison and developing/growing self compassion
Overcoming fear and anxiety of the unknown
Finding their unique way to live a full life while navigating oppressive systems
Currently, I have evening availability for those seeking support between 5pm and 10pm, Monday through Thursday.
